GameFilmNow didn’t start as a business—it started as a frustration. The founder, like many athletes, parents, and coaches, saw a huge gap in how game film was used and accessed.
For years, athletes looking to improve or get recruited had limited options. If a game wasn’t recorded, it was gone forever. If a parent couldn’t attend a game, they missed it. If a coach wanted to review footage, they had to rely on whatever low-quality recording was available—if there was one at all.
The problem was clear: Game film was essential, but it wasn’t easily accessible.
At the same time, major sports programs had high-tech solutions—multi-camera setups, professional analysts, and extensive film libraries. But for youth athletes, small teams, and families, those resources weren’t available. There was no simple way for teams to record, review, and share high-quality film.
The founder saw this firsthand and asked:
“Why should only elite programs have access to quality game film? Why can’t every athlete, coach, and family have this too?”
That question became the foundation for GameFilmNow.
