Reliability & Preparedness – Making Sure You’re Ready for the Job

(This section is all about your ability to show up on time, stay organized, and handle unexpected challenges.)

1️⃣ It’s the night before a big game you’re filming. You check your camera bag—what’s inside? What are the must-have things you bring to make sure you’re fully prepared?

(Think about what would help you avoid last-minute issues or delays.)

2️⃣ You wake up on game day, and it’s storming. The game is still on, but the field conditions are rough, and you don’t have a cover for your camera. What’s your plan to make sure you still get the best possible footage while protecting your gear?

(We want to see how you handle real-world problems in a professional way.)

Experience & Adaptability – How You Handle Challenges

(This section is about how you think under pressure and adapt in real-time.)

Read this scenario, and answer the questions below.

💡 Scenario: You’re set up on the sideline, ready to film. The game is tied, and there are only a few seconds left. The team is making a last-minute play, but right before the action starts, a referee walks in front of your camera, blocking your shot.

3️⃣ What’s your move? How do you react in the moment to make sure you don’t miss the action?

(We’re testing your quick thinking and adaptability here—no need for a perfect answer, just be real about how you’d handle it.)

4️⃣ After the game, the coach approaches you and asks if you caught that final play. You think you got it, but you’re not 100% sure. How do you handle that conversation?

(We want to see how you communicate honestly and professionally with clients.)

Future Vision & Growth – Where Do You See Yourself?

(This section is about your potential growth with GameFilm Now. Whether this is just a fun gig for you or something more long-term, we want to know where you see yourself.)

5️⃣ If we gave you the chance to take on more responsibility beyond just filming—like training new videographers, helping with editing, or working with clients—would that interest you? Why or why not?

(There’s room to grow here! Let us know if you see this as a stepping stone to something bigger.)

6️⃣ Fast forward six months—you’ve been with GameFilm Now for a while. What do you think will make you stand out as one of the best videographers on our team?

(This question is about your strengths—what do you bring to the table?)

7️⃣ What’s one skill—whether in videography, sports knowledge, or professionalism—that you hope to improve on while working with us?

(We value growth! Tell us what you’d love to get better at.)

Final Thoughts

There’s no perfect answer to any of these questions. We’re hiring for personality—so just be yourself! We’re excited to hear your thoughts and get to know you.

📸 Good luck! We’ll be in touch soon.

What is the best time of day to reach out to you?
